Public Affairs News Awards 2011

2011 Shortlist

The Public Affairs News Awards – the professional and social highlight of the industry’s calendar – are upon us once again.

The awards are now in their seventh year and constitute the only awards programme dedicated to recognising excellence in your profession. As showcased here, the potential winners in almost all the categories have now been decided by our 24-strong judging panel.

The winners in six of the categories – ‘Rising Star – Individual (In-House)’, ‘Rising Star – Individual (Agency)’, ‘Best Agency to Work For’, ‘In-House Team of the Year’, ‘Consultant of the Year’ and ‘Consultancy of the Year’ – will be decided with the help of inperson presentations on 9 September at Dods’ offices in Westminster.

Winners in most of the remaining categories will be decided by the judging panel based on written submissions, although ‘live’ voting is planned during the awards dinner for two of the categories: ‘Party Conference Innovation 2011’ and ‘Political Tweeter of the Year’.

The economic climate continues to be challenging, so everyone involved with Public Affairs News is very grateful to those giving commercial support to the awards.

Also, thank you to our judging panel, who have spent time whittling down the entries. In particular, thanks (in advance) to those judges who will spend 9 September with us for the presentations.

Last but not least, thank you to everyone who entered – and a hearty ‘well done’ to all those who have made the shortlist.

I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 16 November at the ceremony.
