DLA's Awford to depart after almost 11 years for Europe V-P role with Genworth

Awford will start in her new role on 6 September, based at the firm’s European headquarters in London. She is a replacement for Francesca Arcidiaco, who is understood to have relocated to Japan.
Awford will remain with DLA Piper GGR until 2 September. After this, Mike Pullen, who is a senior partner at DLA Piper, will lead the team, with GGR directors Eben Black – who is also head of media – and Rupert Gowrley, taking ‘enhanced roles across the team’.
Awford joined GGR (which was formerly known as Upstream) from AS Biss & Co (now Mandate Communications).
