Brunswick on hunt for top public affairs pro in London

International corporate affairs consultancy Brunswick is scouring the market for a top public affairs professional for its London office.

The search has been triggered by the departure of partner Jon Rhodes to join the Business Growth Fund (BGF) as director of comms and marketing.
Rhodes, who began his career with the Labour Party, built and ran Brunswick’s London public affairs practice after joining seven years ago but has left to join the £2.5bn vehicle set up by the banking sector to help British SMEs.
Brunswick has various partners based in London with public affairs experience, but Rhodes was the one most dedicated to the sector.
Other of the agency’s public affairs staff who remain include senior partner Nick Claydon, who joined a decade ago; partner Anita Scott, who joined 15 years ago; and partner Richard Jacques, a former UK diplomat in Brussels.
