Joseph Rowntree Foundation in Wales / Northern Ireland appointments

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) has appointed Michael Trickey as its new Wales adviser, and well-known Belfast lobbyist Quintin Oliver as its first Northern Ireland (NI) adviser.

The pair will help the social policy charity on issues in Wales and NI, helping it to ‘accurately reflect’ on local public policy issues and represent the organisation there.
A senior civil servant retiring from the Welsh Assembly Government, Trickey succeeds Vivienne Sugar, who held the role since 2005.
Oliver founded lobbying agency Stratagem in Belfast 12 years ago.
