One person in seven in the UK is affected by a lung disease. Whether it's mild asthma or lung cancer, the British Lung Foundation (BLF) is here for every one of them.
The British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity working for people affected by lung disease through research, education, support and care. Over the last 25 years we have developed programmes to support improvements in all areas of respiratory medicine, from funding world-class, independent research to pioneering end-of-life care programmes.
The Press and Campaigns Manager is responsible for leading the Press and Campaigns team in the delivery of high impact campaigns and imaginative media communications which will raise the profile of the British Lung Foundation and its activities.
We are looking for a confident manager with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire engaging communications from your team.
You will have a good understanding of the workings of Westminster and the devolved governments and a successful track record of devising and delivering creative campaign and media strategies to achieve change and awareness.
The successful candidate will be ambitious with excellent PR and campaign skills. Whether you are press releasing new research, planning a media stunt, launching an online campaign action or increasing our celebrity supporters, your expertise will ensure your communications make an impact.
