Rud Pedersen reels in Fleishman Hillard Brussels ace James Stevens

Fast-growing Nordic public affairs firm Rud Pedersen has made an audacious raid on Fleishman Hillard to capture on of its top operators in Brussels.
James Stevens is to join Rud Pedersen has as a partner in its Brussels office after 15 years at FleishmanHillard Brussels.
Most recently, Stevens has been the agency’s senior vice president, senior partner and managing director of public affairs.
He is known for his early adoption of digital channels for public affairs purposes work, including setting up the first public affairs blog and Twitter account with a focus on Brussels.
In 2014 Stevens was named as European Public Affairs Professional of the Year and from 2012 to 2016 was the Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in Brussels.

Rud Pederson was set up in 2003 by CEO and president Morten Rud Pedersen, a former special advisor to the ex-leader of the Danish Social Democrats Mogens Lykketoft.
The agency calls itself “the fastest growing Public Affairs company in Northern Europe”. The firm opened its Brussels office last year, and with Stevens on board it now has a team of 11, plus some 120 staff in its five offices across four Nordic countries.
