Michelle Di Leo leaves iNHouse to set up her own shop
Di Leo has walked out on iNHouse after less than a year at the Westminster-based agency.
Experienced lobbyist Michelle Di Leo has established a new outfit called MDL Strategy after leaving iNHouse Communications.
Di Leo moved to iNHouse last year from her post as head of public affairs at FleishmanHillard Fishburn. But she recently quit the agency and has now moved to set up a new shop based in London’s Fitzrovia district.
“I'm partnering with senior independent colleagues, bringing together a bespoke mix of skills and experience, combined with the ability to build partnerships that make a difference. We'll remain focused on that model,” she said.
Di Leo is also former director at the now-defunct New Labour lobbying agency LLM Communications and is the partner of Mail on Sunday columnist Dan Hodges.
She left FleishmanHillard Fishburn in June 2017 to move to iNHouse, which was set up in 2006 by then Conservative party staffers Katie Perrior and Jo Tanner. Perrior returned to the agency last year as its first chair last year after quitting as Theresa May’s director of communications.
