Lucy Holbrook is the latest hire for fast-growing Field Consulting.

Field Consulting has hired Pagefield partner Lucy Holbrook to be its first managing director as founder Chris Rumfitt grows the agency into a 15-strong outfit.

Holbrook makes the move after five years at Pagefield where her key clients included cereal giant Kelloggs and drink behemoth InBev. She was previously a senior lobbyist at Connect Communications.

At the same time Field has hired Mark Holmes, former interim director of the Conservative Environment Network, as a consultant. The agency already has Jake Sumner, co-chair of SERA, on the books. SERA is the only environmental group affiliated to the party Labour.

Former Edelman public affairs chief Rumfitt set up Field in 2014 with an initial focus on property public affairs, but the agency has broadened its client base in recent years. Key clients for the agency now range from property investment and development company Capital & Counties Properties to the likes of Govia Thameslink and the FA.

Rumfitt told PAN that the new hires would enable the agency to continue making inroads into sectors such as transport, energy and football.
