Ketchum boss brings to light undiscovered Weber Shandwick glory years snaps

Jo-ann Robertson's colleagues included Tory dancing queen Tara Hamilton Miller.

Could Ketchum’s London CEO Jo-ann Robertson possibly be feeling a tad nostalgic about her old agency?

"Now this seems like a lifetime ago," she mused on Twitter, while posting two beautiful snaps of the Weber Shandwick public affairs team from back in the day (ie sometime around 2010)

In one photo, Robbo sits on a sleek black sofa with then corporate and public affairs chairman Jon McLeod lurking ominously behind her. "We look like the White Stripes," said McLeod, upon viewing the snap today.

Another snap also features esteemed former team members such as ultimate Labour party brainiac Luke Akehurst and high life-loving fashionista and Tory lobbyist Joe Phelan.

And (on the far right of the groupshot) former Tory press officer Tara Hamilton Miller, who once enlivened a Tory party conference in Blackpool with "a virtuoso 5am dancing display to an iPod hooked up to speakers at a boisterous impromptu champagne party in the room of a female lobby correspondent at one of the town's better hotels".

She left the agency a couple of years later, after hitting the headlines over a violent struggle with her husband that resulted in £18,500 damage to three artworks and a Lalique coffee table in the couple’s Chelsea home.

Those were the days….
